Barbara est une illustratrice établie à Montréal, Québec.

Originaire d'Allemagne, Barbara a vécu à Londres, au Royaume-Uni, dans les années 1990 et s'est installée à Montréal en 2002.

Elle a une bac en histoire et en littérature de South Bank University, London. Elle a étudié la photographie, la peinture et le dessin dans le cadre d'un baccalauréat en beaux-arts de l'Université Concordia à Montréal.

Le travail de Barbara est influencé par l'amour des couleurs fortes et joyeuses, ainsi que par l'appréciation de la simplicité et des imperfections qui apparaissent naturellement lorsque les choses sont dessinées à la main.

Barbara is an illustrator working out of Montreal, Quebec.

Originally from Germany, she moved to London, UK in the 1990s and settled in Montreal in 2002.

She has a background in history and literature, with an honours degree from South Bank University in London and has studied photography, painting and drawing as part of a BFA in Studio Arts at Montreal's Concordia University.

Barbara's work is influenced by a love of strong and happy colours, as well as an appreciation for simplicity and the imperfections that naturally appear when things are drawn by hand.
